The Calcasieu Area Council, Boy Scouts welcomes all Scouts and the SWLA community to join us for a 5 mile or 10 mile historical hike.  This is not a timed event.  The historical hike is a self guided hike designed to help people of all ages have fun learning about Lake Charles.  You and/or your group will travel to 25 locations (33 locations for the 10 mile) and have an engaging information pack that keeps you looking for great pieces of our history. 

Don't Forget - Pack water and wear weather appropriate clothing.  We currently do not have any water stations planned on the route.

Cost - Free

Registration - 9am to 9:30am at the Calcasieu Area Council Service Center.  As soon as you have checked in and picked up your info pack your group is ready to go. 

Lunch - Lunch will be provided at the Paramount Room, the entrance is just down from the corner of Pujo St &Ryan St. at Pops and Rockets (beside Botsky's on Pujo St.). A big thank you to Empire of The Seed for sponsoring lunch!  Lunch will be served from 11:00-11:45am.
