Come on down to the Roast of Heath Schroyer, where we’ll support Scouting in South Louisiana and have a riot of a time doing it!
The Roast of Heath Schroyer brings together the who’s who of corporate and community leaders to honor a standout local hero. Guests will enjoy a fun night of food, drinks, and the warm satisfaction of knowing you’re doing something good—without having to break a sweat (unless you’re Heath, in which case you will be sweating profusely)! All proceeds go to benefit the Calcasieu Area Council of Scouting America.
This year’s Roast will honor McNeese Athletic Director Heath Schroyer, the recipient of the Southland Strong Community Service Award. Heath went above and beyond after Hurricanes Laura and Delta hit in 2020, stepping up alongside McNeese student-athletes to help with everything from tarping roofs to cleaning debris to distributing supplies. In short, he helped patch up the community when it needed it most.
And yes, all the funds from this event will support local Scouting programs, giving young people in our area the experiences they need to develop self-esteem, character values, and life skills. So come enjoy yourself while making a real impact!
