Camp Edgewood spans 283 acres in southern Beauregard Parish, Louisiana, nestled between DeQuincy and Ragley, and just a 30-minute drive from downtown Lake Charles. The camp includes 14 campsites, multiple program areas, and a dedicated area for target and range activities. These activities feature archery, rifle, and shotgun ranges with automatic low and high houses. The Dining Hall, with its state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, can accommodate 250 people.

Council programs are offered year-round on weekends and during school breaks. Scout camping for Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, and Venture Crews is available most weekends.

Camp Edgewood is open to church and civic groups, schools, private parties, and weddings to experience the beautiful Southwest Louisiana (SWLA) outdoors.

To schedule your visit, please contact Sheena Cole at 337-436-3376 or Sheena.Cole@scouting.org. Below, you'll find our pricing guide and the reservation form. The form is easy to complete digitally and can be quickly returned to confirm availability for your group or family.

How can I help restore Camp Edgewood?

We are incredibly fortunate to have some of the best volunteers who are eager to assist with the ongoing efforts at Camp Edgewood. We have compiled a list of tasks that need to be completed. This list is a work in progress and will be continually updated, allowing you to see our current status and future plans. So, the next time your Scouts have a free weekend and want to help out, they can simply check the list and confirm with the Camp Ranger that the project still needs to be done.

We cannot achieve this without our community's support, and we look forward to continuing our coordinated efforts to improve our camp.
